They actually did very well. Slightly smaller than the original Cloves but about 10 times more flavour. I have so many more Videos to upload when I get time and a Garlic Harvest is in the making... :)

I haven't had time to make one yet. They did turn out way more tasty than the original and seemed to be much stronger in flavour :)

I can't wait to grow some garlic indoors this winter! My patio is not covered so it will get too waterlogged if I left the container outside!

It's best to grow Garlic outside as they like to cold winter months. Try to make sure your container has really good drainage before sowing the cloves

do you need full sun to grow garlic. I want to grow them inside, but I don't have any windows that face south or west.

Most Garlic actually like the cold and have to stratify over the winter to form the Bulbs. They don't need direct sunlight but do need a good amount of light in the day

That's very unusual. How many Cloves did you try to sprout?

Project Diaries 3 cloves. One did grow out a very small sprout. They were starting to turn brown in the water, but still tried planting the cloves and they did great. It has been a couple of weeks and theyre about 10 inches tall now :)

Garlics like the cold but lots of light. If you have somewhere indoor that fits that then I can't see why not

would this technique apply to Japanese garlic?, the cloves have a thicker wood-like layer

+Yesenia Rodarte I've not Grow Japanese Garlic before but this technique has worked for every kind of garlic I've grown so far. I can't see why it wouldn't...
