Grapes are the heartthrob of the food industry. Jam, juice, wine, raisins, vinegar or grape-seed oil, you always find it somewhere, in some form, on your kitchen shelf.
From being the fruit of kings and queens, and the source of wine for religious ceremonies, grapes have a long association with mankind.
So, what is it so great about grapes? Here, we look at 8 reasons why grapes are a man’s best friend.

5. Skin loves grapes

Being an antioxidant by nature, vitamin C in grapes can not only reverse UV damage on the skin but also protect it naturally from further damage.
Anthocyanin and Resveratrol are also widely known to tone up the skin which helps tackle age-related problems like wrinkles.
6. Fatigue fighter
Loaded with one of the healthiest sugar, fructose or fruit sugar, it releases quick calories into the blood stream. It readily fights fatigue and low energy.
The antioxidants detoxify the body while other enzymes start working on the mitochondria to produce more energy. Moreover, grapes are classified as a low glycemic index (GI) food.

Grape juice is a powerful source of riboflavin. Riboflavin is an interesting vitamin that has many roles. One of its chief functions is to help sooth stressed nerve endings.
